Lecture to focus on cannabis myths

An expert on medical cannabis is set to host a lecture next week on the myths associated with the drug.

Marcia Williams, from the University of Technology, Jamaica, has made numerous presentations and written several articles on the subject.

Dr Williams will be joined in the presentation by a panel of local medical professionals, including a naturopathic doctor and a pharmaceutical specialist.

The lecture, titled “Debunking the Myths Associated with Cannabis: An Academic Perspective”, will take place at 6pm on November 30 at the Hallett Hall lecture theatre on the Bermuda College campus.

The lecture is free, and will be open to the public.
