Health check for seniors on Wednesday
Age Concern is holding its third and final health check for the year on Wednesday.
People aged 50 and older are urged to attend St James Church, Somerset, between 10am and 2pm for free vital checks, eye and dental screenings.
Anita Furbert, education coordinator for Age Concern stated: “The health checks events have been extremely successful over the year.
“To date, we have provided over 200 checks and collected some very useful data that will help improve the effectiveness of these types of events.
“The event at St James Church is extremely timely, because it is happening before the Christmas holidays which will allow participants to gauge their health standing before they enter the season.”
Another series of health checks is planned in the first quarter of 2018.
