Front Street detours for resurfacing
Upgrades to the surface of Front Street between Parliament Street and Burnaby Hill will continue tomorrow morning, and are expected to be completed by Thursday afternoon, according to the Corporation of Hamilton.
The westbound driving lane will be closed for asphalting, with diversion signs in place at Court Street and Parliament Street.
On both days, the work will be completed before afternoon rush hour.
Eastbound traffic on Front Street will not be disrupted, but motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
On-street parking on Front Street between Burnaby and Parliament Streets will be restricted tomorrow and on Thursday. This will include No. 5 car park, which will be inaccessible because of the road closure.
The City apologised for any inconvenience and thanked the public for their patience while upgrades to the MS Amlin World Triathlon racecourse are carried out.
