Budget reply by OBA in House of Assembly

The 2018-19 Budget and the stewardship of Bermuda's economy will dominate today's House of Assembly.

A week after the Budget, Opposition leader and Shadow Minister of Finance Jeanne Atherden is to deliver the Reply to the Budget.

A party spokesman said the One Bermuda Alliance had no parliamentary questions planned and would focus on the debate.

There was speculation that transport minister Walter Roban might release the Bermuda Government's review of the airport redevelopment, which he said yesterday would be shared “shortly” with the public.

Lawrence Scott, the new Government Whip, said today's session would go straight into the reply to the financial blueprint for the coming year.
