Woman rescued from car

A woman was rescued from a car that went over an embankment yesterday.

The Bermuda Police Service said the car was driven off Orange Valley Road, Devonshire, 100 metres north of Jubilee Road at about 3pm.

A spokesman said: “The lone female occupant was extricated out of the vehicle and was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.”
