Woman still stable after crash

An 18-year-old woman remains in intensive care after a road crash in which six people were injured.

Police said the passenger was in a stable condition today as they gave an update on the incident near Whitney Institute, Middle Road, Smith's, on the evening of March 12.

Another passenger, a 19-year-old man, is in a stable condition on a general ward. Three more passengers, as well as the driver, have been treated and discharged from hospital.

The driver, a 25-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and remains on police bail as inquiries continue.

Witnesses should call police on 295-0011.

Police are also continuing to investigate the fatal collision that claimed the lives of motorcyclists Demarcvjai Williams and Marco Salema last Friday.

Witnesses should call Constable Asaph Rawlins of the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788.
