A prayer vigil will tonight be held as a show of support for families who have lost loved ones in the past week.

The Bermuda Rugby Association, the Bermuda Government and members of the clergy will host the event in Victoria Park from 7.30pm.

It comes after the death of American rugby player Mark Dombroski at Fort Prospect on Sunday, the death of Dejon Simmons after a fight in Front Street on Sunday, and the road crash last Friday that claimed the lives of motorcyclists Demarcvjai Williams and Marco Salema.

A Government spokeswoman said: “Members of the public are encouraged to attend in a show of support for the families who are experiencing the loss of their loved ones.”
