Bermuda Day road restrictions

Road restrictions will be in place for races and the parade on Bermuda Day.

According to the Ministry of Public Works, traffic will be limited on Friday for:

• Sinclair Packwood Memorial Cycle Race:

Commencing at Somerset Road and travelling along Bridge Hill, Middle Road, Burnt House Hill, Harbour Road, The Lane, Crow Lane, into the City of Hamilton, leaving the City of Hamilton on Cedar Avenue, Marsh Folly Road, to Dutton Avenue.

• Bermuda Day Half Marathon Derby:

Commencing at Somerset Road and travelling along Bridge Hill, Middle Road, Burnt House Hill, Harbour Road, The Lane, Crow Lane, into the City of Hamilton, leaving the City of Hamilton then onto Cedar Avenue, Marsh Folly Road, Dutton Avenue and finishing at Bernard’s Park.

• Bermuda Day Parade Route:

Starting on Dutton Avenue and leaving Barnard Park area, the Parade will travel north on Dutton Avenue, west on Marsh Folly Road and South on Cedar Avenue into the City of Hamilton.

• Blackwatch Pass Road Closure:

This road closure is effective on Thursday and Friday to prepare for the Bermuda Day Parade events.

• Bermuda Bicycle Association road race:

Takes place on Sunday, from 7.45am to 10.30am. No road closures will be in place, but motorists are urged to take extra care.

Start/Finish line set on Middle Road Smiths near the Flatts Post Office

Proceed west and bear left on Verdmont Road

Left turn onto St Mark’s Road

Left turn onto South Road proceeding east

Left turn at Paynter’s Road

Right turn onto Harrington Sound Road

Proceed east on Harrington Sound Road to Wilkinson Avenue

At Wilkinson Avenue and North Shore junction, left turn on to North Shore Road

Proceed west to North Shore Road and Middle Road junction

Travel up Middle Road Smiths to Start/Finish Line
