Three arrested at sobriety checkpoints

Three people were arrested for impaired driving after the latest round of road sobriety checkpoints last night.

Two drivers failed the alco-analyser test at Hamilton Police Station and the third refused to take it.

Five more motorists required initial and secondary field tests, but were cleared after the results of the secondary test.

Checkpoints continue tonight and tomorrow night in Hamilton Parish, Devonshire, Pembroke and Paget.
