A pedestrian who was struck by a car as he walked along North Shore Road two weeks ago is out of intensive care.

A police spokesman said the 62-year-old man is stable and is on the general ward at the King Edward VII Hospital.

The man was struck near Trinity Church Road in Hamilton Parish on January 17.
