Woman recovers after roundabout crash

A motorcyclist hurt in a crash with a car on a Hamilton roundabout has been released from hospital.

The Smith’s woman, 20, suffered cuts to her chin and knees in the incident at the junction of Woodlands Road, Par-la-Ville Road and Serpentine Road on Friday, at about 1.40pm.

She was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital by ambulance but police said she has now been discharged.

No other injuries were reported. Witnesses should call Constable Jonathan Flood on 295-0011.
