Drive-in movies return to Hamilton
A drive-in movie night in Hamilton, which proved a success last year, is returning next month.
A double feature on Saturday, March 7 will show at the City Hall car park, where entry will be free, with food vendors on hand and servers on roller skates delivering popcorn.
The 11ft by 20ft screen will feature the live action version of Aladdin at 5.30pm, followed by Terminator: Dark Fate at 8pm/
Vendors include Ashley’s Lemonade, Hot Dog Delight, J & B’s Woodfire Pizza, and Dandy Donuts.
Space will be set aside for non-drivers to bring their own chairs for the show.
Parking spaces are limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.
Parking attendants and security will be provided, as well as portable bathrooms.
The south half of the car park will be closed from 6am, with the north half closed from 2pm.
Exit barriers in the lot will be raised before the first screening ends so that no parking payment is necessary for moviegoers.
