A man was last night rushed to hospital after he was shotA police spokesman said the victim, a 21-year-old Pembroke man, was shot in the shoulder.The spokesman said police had received reports of gunshots in the Happy Valley Lane area of Pembroke shortly after 7pm.He said: “Police arrived on the scene and confirmed a fire arms incident did occur, and a 21-year old suffered a gun shot to the shoulder.“He was taken to hospital by a private vehicle and treated for his injuries. Police have appealed for witnesses.
