Saturday parking restrictions at bus terminal

Parking restrictions will be introduced on successive Saturdays to allow workers to resurface parking bays at Hamilton's bus terminal.

There will be no parking allowed on Washington Street from 4pm and the street will be closed to traffic from from 6pm.

The resurfacing work will start at 6pm and continue until 7am.

The parking restrictions will start this Saturday and continue until April 4.

A Government spokeswoman said: “Signs will be in place advising the public and vehicles not removed may be done so at the owners' expense.”

The public bus schedule will operate as normal, but buses may be assigned alternative parking bays.

No busess at 3:30pm
