Roadworks will take place in Devonshire, Hamilton Parish and Pembroke next week.Details are included in three statements below from the Ministry of Public Works:DevonshireThe Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that near house # 25 South Road, Devonshire, D&J Excavating & Landscaping Services Ltd. will undergo trench work to place utility lines underground. This trench work will require temporary one-lane traffic closures across both lanes.These lane closures will take place during Tuesday June 16th, 2020 through to Friday June 19th 2020. Working hours will be from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.Traffic controls will be under direction of Invisible Trenching representatives and will be managed through traffic control signals.The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.Should there be any questions regarding these lane closures, please direct queries to the attention of Mr. Kip Froud, Invisible Trenching on 334-7159.PembrokeThe Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that there will a lane closure taking place for the removal and replacement of the AIG hedge along Richmond Road eastbound lane.The lane closure will be on the eastbound lane on Richmond Road from the junction of Woodbourne Avenue to Bermudiana Road Junction light and it will take place from Friday June 19th through Saturday June 20th, 2020. Motorists and pedestrians will be advised to use alternative detour route via Woodbourne Avenue, Gorham Road and Bermudiana Road during these times.
