disappointing 17th during the Western Zone Qualifier held in Jamaica over the weekend.

Representing the Island were Kim Swan and Cornell Bean, but the pair failed to live up to expectations as they combined for an overall score of 313 over two rounds.

This left them 25 strokes off the leaders and 17 shots away from a top four placing, which would have been sufficient to guarantee a place in the final in Puerto Rico in November.

Brazil, with the team of Antonio Barcellos and Acacio Pedro, tied the combination of Anssi Kankkonen and Mikael Piltz of Finland for the top spot, both posting 290, followed by Norway (294) and Jamaica (296).

For Bermuda, Bean followed a first day score of 82 with a final round of 78, while Swan had scores of 78 and 75.
