The top prize is awarded for the lowest net score of the day using the Pinehurst format. It was the second trophy for Andrew in as many months as he also triumphed during Easter's annual Glidden Bowl.

Second place in the low net division went to the team of Derrick Douglas and Tim Burland who carded 64.

In the low gross division, the father and son team of David James Sr. and David Jr. won with 68, followed by the team of Judithann Outerbridge and Aaron James on 72.

In other BJGA competition at Southampton Princess, David Spiering fired 50 over nine holes to lead the way in Group One. Gordon Cooper was two shots back, edging out Shannon Trott for second on retrogression.

In the Novice section at Riddell's Bay, Michael Watts fired 26 over five holes to take top spot. Robert Hern was three shots back on 29 with Darius Gordyk third on 30.

ROAD RACING RUN Today is the last day for entries for Sunday's 12th annual Maple Leaf 10K, starting and finishing at the Clocktower in Dockyard.

The race starts at 9.00 a.m, followed by a 10K for walkers at 9.30 a.m.

Entry forms can be picked up and returned to Sportseller and The Pro Shop in Hamilton.

Meanwhile, entries close tomorrow at the regular $10 fee for the annual May 24 Marathon Derby. Late entries will be accepted at an increased fee of $25 with the late deadline set for May 15.

Forms can be picked up from most sports shops.

ANGLING SLG Entries close today for the Department of Tourism-sponsored Louis Mowbray Opening Day fishing tournament, which is set for Sunday.

Forms can be collected from and returned to Fly Bridge Tackle or the Department of Tourism Recreation Desk.

Boats should assemble at 7.15 a.m. on Sunday at Watford Bridge. Weigh-in stations will be manned at Dockyard (opposite the Clocktower) and Ordnance Island, St. George's.

Confirmation of the tournament or its postponement because of bad weather can be checked by calling 238-0112 from 5.00 to 6.30 a.m. on Sunday.

BODYBUILDING BOD Dennis Wainwright was returned as president when Bermuda Bodybuilding Federation held their recent annual general meeting.

Others elected include: Devrae Noel Simmons (vice-president), Candy-Lee Foggo (secretary), Dwayne Outerbridge (treasurer), Percy Paynter (public relations officer), Raymond Smith, Clive Gift, Clifford Payne (gym representatives).
