Wednesday as play in the Bermuda Youth Soccer Cup continued.

After gaining the final on the strength of a 7-0 thrashing of the West Select the Bermuda Under 12 team was made to sweat it out against a determined Central squad before finally subduing them 1-0.

Central had edged by the East Select 2-1 in their semifinal encounter but could not produce the goods in the final, going down to a solitary strike by Jahki Smith.

Likewise the Under 14 final proved a close affair with plenty of excitment and ended with the Bermuda team holding a 2-1 advantage.

Daman Ming and Keith Jennings once again demonstrated the goalscoring ability that had helped the Bermuda side go undefeated throughout the competition.

Each netted once and this proved to be enough for victory. Kevon Smith was the goalscorer for Central.

Ming and Jennings had earlier teamed up to sink the West 3-1 in the semifinals, with Ming getting on the scoresheet twice and Jennings once.

Central gained access by beating the East 2-1.

In the consolation finals of the Under 12s it was the East emerging 2-1 winners over the West with Jamal Blakeney and Ricky Saltus accounting for the East's scoring and Dubrick Smith replying for the West. The other match involving the Under 14s resulted in an emphatic 5-1 victory for the West against their opponents, Central, as Devon Santucci slammed home all five goals.
