Gibbons disclosed last night that three clubs in the Birmingham League, Romsley, Solihull and Harborne are all interested in taking on Bermudian youngsters next season.

"If our cricket is going to improve we have to get players out here playing professionally,'' Gibbons stated. "It's a great feeling being the only Bermudian cricketer playing professionally and my main ambition is to help Bermuda cricket.'' Gibbons has already been in touch with the Devonshire Rec. tour party and there is a possibility that he may play one or two matches with them as a guest player, providing he can get approval from his club.
