Troublemakers assured themselves of third place with a draw against number four Strikers, while Mix-Ups wound up fifth.

A high series (662) and game (259) by Kelvin Burt contributed mightily to Untouchables' solid 3-1 triumph over the new champions. Burt was ably assisted by Charletta Samuel's 552 series, good for second among the women and Millie Waldron's 537 which was third.

Marie Frith did her part for E & C, rolling a 560 but her team still came up short with an overall 2079 series compared to the team high 2203 series registered by Untouchables.

Troublemakers battled tooth and nail with Strikers before settling for a share of the spoils (2-2). Traci Francis led the way for Troublemakers as she had the second high women's game 223. Strikers made use of good all around play to hang in for the tie.

Mix-Ups rounded out their season in style, blasting D & D Rollers 3-1. Mix-Ups ended up with the second high team series (2137) as they proved to much for their opponents.

In other matches Last Minutes downed Dolphins 3-1 and Pin Winners tied 2-2 against J & B Plumbing Sunshine.

Bowling in the Mixed Majors League will resume in September.

Young Men's Social Club were the big winners on Saturday night in the Mott's Sportsmen's league, as they thrashed Young Blood 24-3. Ivor Minors turned in a creditable performance with a 234 game and 616 series, good for third and fourth high respectively.

Warwick Workman's Reds likewise enjoyed a lopsided result, defeating sister team Warwick Workman's Whites 20-7.

In a much closer affair Sparks needed to pull out all the stops in order to get past Pembroke Juniors 17-10. This match was a real barn burner with the nteams winding up first and second for team honours. Sparks edged Juniors 2821 to 2798 for team high series, but Juniors reversed the order for team hiogh game producing a 985 compared to 962 by Sparks.

Buy & Sell also were winners, as they beat Mini Forwarders 18-9.

DARTS DRT The Bermuda Open Darts Competition is set to take place on Monday at BAA starting at 8.30. Among those taking part will be defending champion Gregor McQueen.

POWERBOATING RAB The Bermuda Power Boat Association will be holding safety and rescue seminars at Warwick Academy starting tonight from 7.00 to 9.00. Two instructors have come in from the United States to conduct the seminars, the practical phase of which will be held in the school pool.

The seminars continue on Saturday (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.). The powerboat season starts on May 3.

SOFTBALL SOF There will be a training session for all those interested in playing for Western All Stars softball team during the upcoming season at St. John's Field on Monday starting at 6.30 p.m.

The Bermuda Amateur Softball Association will hold a special meeting on Tuesday at Warwick Workman's Club Auditorium commencing at 7.30 p.m.
