SECOND DIVISION
Wolves opened up a three point lead at the top of the Second Division with their fourth straight victory at White Hill Field on a day when 21 goals were scored in three matches.
Eagles started this game with nine men and finished the half with 10, by which time they were trailing 3-0. John Barry Nusum netted for Wolves in the 13th and 15th minutes and Nathan Webb in the 20th.
An 11th player arrived for Eagles in the second half but the goals for Wolves also kept coming as Michael Dill added the fourth in the 55th minute before Nusum completed his hat-trick on the hour. Ricky Nesbitt made it 6-0 after 70 minutes before Timothy Telford pulled one back for Eagles in the 81st. Webb scored his second and the team's seventh three minutes from the end.
St.David's 1 Ham. Parish 4 Home team St. David's lost their unbeaten record, and second place in the process, when Corey Hill netted twice to give Hamilton Parish the win that lifts them ahead of the Islanders on goal difference.
Trinn Burgess broke the deadlock in first half injury time when he scored with a low free kick from 23 yards.
A missed penalty by Del Tyrell three minutes into the second half proved costly for St. David's as Parish doubled their lead on the hour when Irving Burgess scored from a good build-up.
Substitute Rudell Pitcher kept it close with a goal in the 74th minute for St.
David's from Chae Simmons' cross. But two goals in the 77th and 90th minutes from Corey Hill settled the points.
Paget 6 St. George's 2 Paget followed up their 4-1 win over Social Club last weekend with a second straight victory at White Hill Field.
The East Enders, fielding several teenagers, never recovered from Paget's good start which produced two goals in the first three minutes from Wayne Tucker and Dwayne Bean.
Marlon Williams made it 3-0 after 19 minutes and Chris Wright added the fourth seven minutes later.
The next goal came in the 76th minute, opening the gates for a late flurry which produced four goals in the final 14 minutes.
Alvin Baker netted the first of his two in the 76th minute before St. George's replied from the penalty spot through Marco Lovell. Baker scored again in the 86th and then Yusaff Pitt netted after dribbling through on the right.
