Football fans sent around 130 support calls to the team's hotel in Kingston, Jamaica, before they went down 3-2 in a fighting performance.

That was more than double the 45 messages received by the players in El Salvador in their previous qualifying match.

Now Cable and Wireless is encouraging fans once again to show the players that they are right behind them in this historic World Cup adventure.

They can fax messages to the team's hotel in Vancouver before their vital game with Canada on Sunday.

Bermuda must come away with at least a win and a draw in their matches against the Canadians to stand any chance of qualifying for the next round. So another show of support will be a major encouragement.

The fax number to reach the team in Vancouver is 1-604-687-3102. Those fans without fax machines can send their messages, at a nominal charge, from the Cable and Wireless office on Church Street, opposite City Hall, today or tomorrow.

Cable & Wireless will again make a donation to the Bermuda Football Association for every "Go Bermuda'' fax sent from the Hamilton office.
