TENNIS TEN The annual Father/Son Mother/Daughter Tennis tournament will be held March 10-13 at the Coral Beach and Tennis Club courts.

Participants from the United States and Britain are expected for the event which is sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association.

DARTS DRT The following have been chosen to represent Bermuda in the upcoming Caribbean Cup in Trinidad, scheduled to take place in October.

POOL POO Despite a 50 from Dion Berkeley, title chasers Swinging Doors were unable to prevent Robin Hood I moving past them into the top spot with a 201-180 triumph in recent action.

Hood were led by Anthony White and Nick Mansell, who both registered 46 points.

In another premier match-up, Queens Club rode the tails of a 43-point night from Trevor Mouchette and Chance McLean's 40 to edge Robin Hood II 188-185.

Meanwhile, Vasco I had no such difficulty in blasting sister side Vasco III 222-161 as all five Vasco I players had 40-plus games.

Remaining games saw Hamilton Parish sweep past War Vets 227-150 and Swinging Doors II best Mariners 201-177.

The race for the positions on the Bermuda team to tour Las Vegas continues to heat up.

Gary Bascome and Greg Falzone lead the men's averages with 8.98 and 8.78 respectively while Freya Robinson heads the women at 8.21.

YOUTH BASEBALL BAS The NAS Youth Athletic Association will be hosting baseball tryouts at Gate 1 complex at St. David's NAS tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. for nine to 13-year-olds and at noon for seven to eight-year-olds. Players are required to bring gloves, hats and baseball shoes.

All prospective coaches, assistants, umpires and other volunteers are also requested to attend the tryout and should be at the Gate 1 concession stand at 9 a.m.

SOCCER SOC The annual soccer match between Elliott Street Deli and Butterfield and Vallis for the Tony Pizza Award will be played at Devonshire Rec. at 8 p.m. tonight.

Butterfield and Vallis will be trying to improve on their record which has them winning only twice in six years. The Deli, with four victories, are slight favourites in a match-up that should once again produce a close result.

CRICKET CRI There will be a meeting for all North Village commercial league players and anyone interested in playing this season on Wednesday, March 9 at 7.30 p.m. at the club.
