Belmont on Thursday to win the boy's 13-14 age group by a comfortable five
In doing so Sherlock brushed off challenges by David James and Justin Barritt going into the final round.
Sherlock started the day with a slim one stroke lead over James and a four-stroke edge over Barritt, but only Barritt was able to offer a fight down the stretch by finishing the tournament with an 82.
James faltered badly and finished seven strokes off the pace following his round of 87. Sherlock had a three round score of 243, Barritt 248 and James 250.
As expected Robert Spurling, entering the final round with a comfortable four-stroke lead, won the boy's 15 and over division by six strokes. He had a three-round score of 234 with a 77 on the final day while Craig Brown and Michael Sims were tied second on 240.
Brown carded a 79 on Thursday while Sims had a 77.
In the boy's 12 and under division Chris Smith won with a 264 despite recording a mere 91 in the final round. Aaron James finished on 258.
Honours in the girl's open division went to Sarah Lindo who won by a comfortable margin of 19 strokes.
She entered the final round with just a five-stroke lead over Jennifer Spurling but the latter faltered badly down the stretch and could only manage a 105 compared to Lindo's 92.
Lindo finished on 291, Spurling 309 and Bonnie Liebowitch 329.
