Bermuda Triathlon Association's second race of their summer ocean swim series takes place at 6.30 p.m. tomorrow off the North Shore.
The one mile event gets underway from Robinson Bay Park.
Race Director Patrick Hackenberg noted that over 50 swimmers were expected to compete, making it one of the largest events of the series.
"This is a unique event. There are a number of interesting aspects to this race,'' said Hackenberg. "First, not many people know about Robinson Bay Park on North Shore. It's a beautiful place. It has six changing rooms and a couple of bathrooms and it's perfect for open water swims.
"This is an office-worker's race. The event is close to Hamilton and it is in the middle of the week, just after people finish work.
"I wanted to do something different than a typical weekend swim. I believe it will attract casual swimmers who just want to shake away the stress of the day.'' Entry fee is three dollars. Swimmers seeking further information can contact Hackenberg at 295-8272, ext. 224
