Charity Cup has been hit by rain.

The men's and women's matches, which involve the league and FA Cup champions, were called off at BAA Field last night and have now been put back to Saturday night at the same venue, starting at 6.00 and 8.00 p.m.

The match, which will raise funds for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, was originally scheduled for Sunday evening.

The switch to this Saturday forces the two Martonmere Cup matches on that day to be rescheduled for next Wednesday at BAA Field.

Vasco will meet Southampton Rangers at 7.00 p.m. and North Village will take on Dandy Town at 9.00.

The regular BFA league programme is scheduled to begin on the weekend of September 26.

Also affected by the rain for a second straight day was the All Bermuda Tennis Club Open at the Tennis Stadium.

While officials managed to to squeeze in some matches late Tuesday night, yesterday's card was wiped out.

With the forecast calling for more rain, the tournament may have to use its Sunday rain date for the finals.
