Cup matches called off

down to two, after Bermuda Football Association confirmed yesterday that the double-headers at Somerset and BAA Field had been postponed.

The Somerset field is unavailable for the matches between North Village and St. George's and Somerset and Boulevard while BAA Field is experiencing floodlight problems. Hotels were to have played Vasco and Devonshire Colts were scheduled to meet PHC.

No new dates have been set following the latest postponements.

Tonight's only matches will be at Devonshire Rec. where Dandy Town take on St.

David's at 7.00 and Devonshire Cougars meet Prospect in their replay after the teams played to a 3-3 draw last Friday night.

Heavy rain interrupted Sunday's first round when only two matches were completed. Southampton Rangers and Wolves are the only teams through to the quarter-finals after wins over Paget and Hamilton Parish respectively. Two other matches started on Sunday but had to be abandoned because of the soggy conditions.
