DeSilva slips in second round
Junior tournament in Ontario, Canada on Thursday, although several managed to better their first round scores.
In the boys 16-18 division, Chaka DeSilva carded 80 after a first round of 78 and slipped from sixth to eighth in the field of 158. He trailed leader Aaron Weinberg of Hamilton, Ontario by 11 shots after Weinberg's even par 72 put him on 147.
Bermuda's Rajesh Pachai fired 79 to improve on his first round 87 and moved several places up with a 36-hole total of 166 while Neil Fenton dropped down the standings after a 90 for a total of 179.
In the boys 12-15 age group, Oliver Pitcher and Fraser Hunt moved into a fifth place tie after shooting 79 and 80 respectively. Their 163 total trails leader John Lindberg of Mississauga by 13 shots after he carded a second consecutive 75.
Chris Smith moved up to ninth (168) after an 82 while Matthew Durrant, who led the locals after a first round 81, slipped to an 89 and stands on 170 in 12th place.

In the girls section Jennifer Spurling continued to lead her only competitor after firing an 88 to add to her first round 84.
