Sunday for the first time since the fall which hospitalised the Bermudian rider.

Somers Devareaux was ridden by Gray's associate Paul Delbrook and placed fourth in the intermediate level of the Molland Horse Trials in Somerset, England.

The handlers of seven-year-old Somers Devareaux -- owned by a local syndicate -- will be trying to qualify him for his first international in October, in France, where he will be ridden by Delbrook.

Gray continues his recovery from the injuries which ruled out his participation in the Olympic Games in Barcelona. He has been released from hospital and is recuperating in Somerset, England.
