With Rego at the helm, Belle won her first heat by nosing out Shamrock Marla.

However, Shamrock Marla, with Arthur Hurst driving, then came back to win the second heat equally as close.

Zeno Cooper drove Custom Eyes'd to her eighth consecutive win. Custom Eyes'd beat out newcomer How Quick Time Flies and veteran Pleasant Surprise. Raymond Tucker drove Penny's Wildwood to his first win of the season while 16-year-old Nicholas DeCosta won four more races, including the two close free-for-all events.

DeCosta drove Brittany Gold while his father Michael drove Grand Shady, with Brittany Gold edging out Grand Shady both times. Eddie Roque, who is pursuing Nick DeCosta for the leading driver title, also won four races, two each with Tuxedo Bow Tie and Shamrock Formal Attire.

Next race day is on Sunday, with post time set for 12 noon.
