Hockey team outclassed
world champions Argentina in the Junior Pan Am Games yesterday.
The young side, who excelled themselves with a victory against Mexico last Friday, have performed impressively in the tournament in Barbados, but were completely outclassed by the South Americans in their last group game yesterday.
The result means Bermuda finished fifth in the group and will today contest a play-off against host nation Barbados.
CRAMP CAN'T STOP LAURENT MAR Cramp can't stop Laurent Bermuda resident Luc Laurent beat an attack of cramp to complete the London marathon in just under three hours on Sunday.
Laurent's time of two hours, 59 minutes, earned him 1,187th place.
"I had a problem at mile 19 with the cramps,'' said Laurent. "It was quite painful, but I reached the finish.'' Laurent has also run the Boston and New York marathons and next year he plans to do Paris.
