Saturday at BAA gym with three upsets as English player Stephen Isaac picked up three titles.

Isaac, the number one seed in the men's singles and rated in the top 12 in the United Kingdom, beat another England-based player, Manfred Tripp, in the the final 17-15, 15-8.

The match was quite entertaining with the second-seeded Tripp going ahead briefly in the second game before Isaac, the younger of the pair at 19, took control and showed his class.

The pair then joined up to beat second-seeded Harold Minors and Randy Brangman of Bermuda 15-2, 15-2. Minors and Brangman hung on for long periods but were no match for the top seeds.

The same was the case in the mixed doubles where defending champions and top seeds Minors and Ailsa Campbell went down to number two seeds Isaac and Shonette Wilson 15-3, 15-4 as Isaac completed his hat-trick of wins.

The number two seeds also toppled the top seeds in the women's singles and doubles finals. Campbell stunned defending champion Julie Durrant 11-9, 12-10 in the singles while Shonette Wilson and Claire Norbury beat defending champions Angela Zammitt and Sue Newall 18-16, 15-6.

Zammit won the consolation final with a straight games win over Jackie Hart while Neville Bilimoria was the men's singles consolation winner in straight games over Sinclair Ball.
