Jennifer makes it two in a row
while Brett Forgesson took advantage of the absence of Tracy Wright to notch his first at Ferry Point Park on Saturday morning.
Fisher, who pipped Jane Christie and Julia Hawley by just seconds in the opening event, had a much easier time with both of the latter runners missing from Saturday's field.
She clocked 24 minutes, 36 seconds over the approximate three mile course, almost four minutes ahead of second-placed Sandy Lund.
Forgesson was also a convincing winner among the men, finishing in 31 minutes, 41 seconds over a course of about four and a half miles.
Errol Cormack finished strongly to take second place in 32.53 while amazingly the next seven places all went to Masters (over 40) athletes -- Harry Patchett (33.09), Jim Butterfield (34.54), Peter Lever (35.15), Mike Whalley (35.27), Roddy Bassett (37.06), George Sutherland (37.49) and Ray Ming (39.20).
