as the Premier (Junior) Division has a two-week break because of World Cup matches.
In the Mini-Minor A Division the size of the pitch has not proven to be as much of a handicap as many coaches and players believed it would be. These under 12 players are playing on their home field's full size pitches and it is bringing out the quality in several players in terms of utilising the space and moving the ball.
Dandy Town's Khano Smith is really enjoying a good start to the season with five goals last weekend. He scored six of Town's goals in a 9-0 victory over Paget this past weekend while Hamilton Parish gave Devonshire Colts Orange a scare as Colts battled from behind to win 3-2.
Jamel Blakeney and Jahkee Smith scored for Colts with Joseph Butterfield having a stellar performance in goal for the winners. In a hard-fought match BAA drew 3-3 with Boulevard Reds' Clive Broadbelt scoring a hat-trick.
In the B Division, Hotels scored a 6-2 victory over Boulevard Gold at Victor Scott School field. Devonshire Colts Whites gained two points by beating Dandy Town Green 2-0 with Taquib Talbot and Kingsley Mundy scoring the goals.
Southampton Rangers should invest in their B Division team as they were in winning form, beating North Village Kids 6-2. Wayne Hill scored three for the winners.
In the Minor Division, Devonshire Colts beat St. George's 7-0 with Damon Ming, Chucky Durham and Damion Hewey amongst the goals. Paget defeated Dandy Town 7-1 to clinch their second win.
The Bantam Division saw Dandy Town trounce Rangers 12-1 while in the game of the day Devonshire Colts squeezed by PHC 2-0 with Otis Minors being the two-goal hero.
BAA's Bantams fought hard against a Boulevard team that found themselves behind at the half. Botelho and Arbend had outstanding games for BAA in the 2-1 loss.
