Productions, announced this week that the 1994 final will be held there.

The three-match competition is scheduled for the weekend of May 14 and 15, with the semifinals -- involving the top four teams in the standings from the 1993 season -- scheduled for the Saturday and the final the following day at Lord's.

That means that five of the last six finals will have been played at Lord's since the tournament became the Camel Cup in 1989. The only year the final has not been staged at Lord's was in 1991 when Somerset Cricket Club was the feature venue.

The competition began as the Premier Cup in 1987 and the first two finals were held at Wellington Oval and Southampton Oval.

The match-up calls for the first and third-placed teams from the previous season and the second and fourth-placed teams to play in the semifinals.

Defending champions Western Stars, who finished second in the league, take on Devonshire Rec. in one semifinal at Southampton Oval while in the other match at Devonshire Rec., league champions St. George's take on Bailey's Bay, who were last year's beaten finalists.

Stars beat Bay by 164 runs in the final last year. The 50-overs matches will begin at noon.
