Paget on a roll
Paget picked up their fourth straight league win yesterday at White Hill to move into third place in the standings.
But they had to battle hard for victory against struggling Somerset Eagles who led 2-0 at one stage in the first half before Paget pulled a goal back before the break.
They then made it 2-2 before Eagles went back in front 3-2. But there was no turning back for Paget after tying it up at 3-3 as they scored two more to seal their fifth straight league and cup victory.
Alvin Backer led their scoring with two goals while Dean Ming, veteran Dale Russell and Chris Wright each got one.
St. George's 1 Social Club 1 Social Club ended their losing streak at the bottom of the standings with a draw at Wellington Oval which earned them their first point of the season.
Social Club took the lead on the hour through substitute Ray Burgess' penalty before St. George's substitute Darrin Walker earned the home team a point 10 minutes later.
