in some excellent racing at Vesey Street on Saturday evening.

In the 14th race Michael Roberts drove Ponder Dawn to a come-from-behind win over L.A.Winning Ticket (Bill Booth).

Winning Ticket had opened up a big lead but Ponder Dawn caught and passed him at the finish line and finished on 1:09.3.

Winning Ticket , who was gunning for his second win of the night, had to settle for second place in 1:09.4 with Miss LL Dane a close third. Race 21 saw a junior driver Aaron Madeiros with Brittany Gold challenge Gusto's Cracker Jack (Bobby DeGraff) and LA Erma Time (David Lopes) and took an early lead starting from post position.

However Madeiros had to pull out all the stops to stave off a late challenge from LA Erma Time . Gusto's Cracker Jack finished a closed third with only two fifths of a second separating all three.

Trott Acre Abby Lass (Keith Woodley) won two heats and now moves up to the next time bar.

Arthur Hurst had a good night with two ponies in the 1:11.3-1:13.3 time bar.

Good Hand's Charlie won one heat and moves up to the next bar while Final Explosion won the other heat with Michael DeCosta driving. Hurst also had a win with Abbe's M&M .

Bobby DeGraff drove Championne County and the big bay mare added two more wins to her season's total, winning the first heat by coming out of number three hole in 1:10.1. She completed the sweep, winning in 1:09.3.

Michael Roberts had three wins, two of them with Ponder Babe but Michael DeCosta was the top driver with four wins.

The fastest time of the night was again turned in by Grand Shady (Michael DeCosta) in 1:07.
