Kyah Butterfield was first overall and boys' winner in the 5K which started at Somerset, completing the event in 20 minutes and 22 seconds. He was followed home by Nadia Wade (20:37) and Jeremiah Smith (20:47).

Female honours went to Gabriella Butler (23:00) ahead of Juanae Simmons (25:04) and Shelina Burt (25:37).

In the open female division, Maria Cruz was first in 27:14 followed by last year's champion Pam Smith (28:48) and Mitre Clark (36:24).

In the 10K, which started at Dockyard, Edward Harris was the winner in 37:16 followed by Clifton Anderson (40:13) and Wayne Beane (42:52). First in the female division was Shirlene Raynor in 68:15.

CRICKET CRI Bermuda Cricket Board of Control's youth clinics will begin this Saturday at two venues -- Somerset Cricket Club and Shelly Bay field -- from 9.30 a.m until 2 p.m.

Coaches at the West End will be Gladstone Brown, El James, Winston Reid and Wayne Smith, while Allan Douglas, Colin Blades, George Cannonier and George Rock will direct activities at the East End.

The programmes are aimed at cricketers between the ages of eight and 15.

Participants are required to wear white attire and sneakers.

SOCCER SOC BAA will hold practice soccer matches every Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock during the month of June at Warwick Academy's lower field for all registered players and those seeking a release/transfer from their current clubs.
