"The husband called out, thinking at first that it was his wife, as he wanted to know what she was doing.

"However, as the burglar spoke, the husband obviously realised that it was not his wife.'' The husband ran after the burglar who made good his escape.

A Kenwood cassette radio was stolen from a truck at Christ Church Road in Devonshire while a wallet containing credit cards and various papers was taken from a parked car on Par-la-ville Road in Hamilton.
