Friday the 13th proved fortuitous for some but was rather unforgiving for others as play in the Fishbowl League continued over the weekend.

Wahoo were one of the lucky ones as they eased to a 3-1 triumph over Snappers.

Doug Hines was the bearer of glad tidings for the victors, bowling the top series and game, a 631 and 234, while Richard Davidge gave ample support with a 556 series.

In the Warriors League, Mohawk put up a tremendous fight against Cheyenne but still could not prevent the latter winning and moving into first place based on a 4-0 win.

Carolyn Welch produced the goods for Cheyenne, her 502 series helping to offset a splendid 521 series recorded by Mohawks' Kelvin Burt.

Second place is now occupied by Blackfoot, who whitewashed Cherokee 4-0 behind torrid series of 492 and 517 by Calvin Basden and Sterlin Smith.
