Despite having their play-off hopes crushed in a two-point loss against Devonshire Dragons last week, Southampton Titans managed a two-point win of their own over the streaky Hamilton Tsunamis.

Tsunamis guard Graham Robinson scored 10 of his team's 29 half-time points to give his side a 29-27 lead at the break.

With a 48-39 lead with six minutes remaining, Tsunamis looked to be on cruise control until back to back baskets by Titans guard Huysayne Symonds saw his team pull within five.

A baseline jump shot by Robinson tied the game at 56 with 50 seconds remaining. And with the stop clock winding down Symonds attacked the rim, but despite missing at close range, centre Jordan Knight managed to tip the ball to team-mate Markez Laws who sank a jump shot to give his side a two-point lead with 18 seconds remaining.

As the clock wound down to five seconds, Robinson attacked the basket and passed to Todd who rimmed out a lay-up.

Symonds scored 18 points for the winners while Laws chipped in with 17. Robinson finished with 19 and Todd with 15 points.

St. George's International 90

Paget Bearcats 50

St. George's continued their high scoring as they handed the Bearcats a mighty 90-50 thrashing.

Outmatching and outsizing their opponents, St. George's scored at ease in the early minutes to take an 18-6 lead.

By the half, St George's had taken a commanding 38-22 lead.

International continued to dominated in the second half.

Charjuan Knight scored 18 of his game-high 29 points in the second half as St. George's wilted.

Chris Crumpler and his team struggled to stop St. George's prolific scoring as Bearcats suffered their biggest defeat of the season.

Lugo added 22 points to assist Knight while Darren Smith scored 21 points for Paget to help Crumpler (14).

Somerset Flyers 34

Pembroke Cane Toads 61

Somerset's scoring woes continued as they lost by 27 points to play-off bound Cane Toads.

Flyers, who looked like the team to beat at the beginning of the season, have quickly gone downhill, losing their last six games.

Taking a 12-2 lead in the early minutes, Cane Toads set the tone with their intense defence which led to a series of uncontested baskets.

Somerset would end the half trailing 26-3.

Cane Toads continued to capitalise on Somerset's inability to score by pushing their lead to 20 after two minutes of play in the second half.

Led by centre Jonathan Lowe, Flyers outscored their opponents 10-2 to bring them within 12 points with ten minutes remaining.

But back to back baskets by Pembroke pushed their lead to 16 and they never looked back.

Dave Middleton scored 13 points to lead Pembroke while Lowe finished with 14 for Somerset.
