Olympic pair prepare Anglesey for Games

Great Britain Olympic silver medallist Colin Jackson and Jamie Baulch have been putting Anglesey’s track athletes through their paces ahead of the NatWest Island Games.

Former 110 metres hurdle world champion Jackson and former 4 x 400 metres relay world champion Jamie Baulch imparted their wisdom on the athletes during a recent training session in Llangefni, Wales.

According to the North Wales Chronicle, Anglesey’s athletes have been in training all year round, and are even travelling to take part in competitions in England to ensure they are in top condition before they head to Bermuda.

Baulch said: “The athletes look in great form and I’m sure will make Ynys Môn (Anglesey) proud at the Bermuda NatWest Island Games”.
