Three in with title opportunity

Three teams are still in a with a chance to win the Bermuda Futsal Federation’s 2017 Men’s League title tonight at the Bermuda College gym.

C-Side, led by top scorer Tahj Wade’s 15 goals, have a one-point lead over Athletico CP with Simplemente Futsal a further point behind in third place. Tonight, Athletico take on PHC, third from bottom in the eight-team league, in the 6pm game while C-side play Simplemente at 7pm in the match that will decide the league.

Flanagan’s Onions I play SCC at 8pm before Onions II meet De Warriors in a bottom of the table clash at 9pm. The race to win the top scorer award is also too close to call with a number of players still in contention. Wade has one more goal than Rakeem DeShields of PHC with Eusebio Blankendal of Athletico tied for third on 13 goals with Justin Corday of SCC.

Leo Burgess, also of SCC, has 12 goals.
