The Opposition One Bermuda Alliance is yet to finalise its submission to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on the Overseas Territories and the UK.But the public consultation period is now over, according to the website set up by the FCO to receive comments from the public.The OBA promised to release their submission to the public this week when contacted by The Royal Gazette late last week.But it emerged last night that the submission was still “in its final stages” according to OBA Chairman Thad Hollis.Once complete, the document will have to be approved by the party’s caucus.Said Mr Hollis: “It will be submitted within the next week.”–The UK launched the consultation in September last year seeking input into a new White Paper on its approach to its colonies.Government released its submission last week.
