Tourism Minister Shawn Crockwell last night gave assurances that gaming, and Government’s promise to put the matter to a National Referendum, are matters that Government intends to deal with promptly.Asked when voters would be presented with the issue, Mr Crockwell told The Royal Gazette: “All of your questions will be addressed when the House resumes in September.”Mr Crockwell did not comment when asked whether the One Bermuda Alliance might be swayed by calls for Government to scrap a national vote and simply proceed with the issue. However, a spokeswoman for Craig Cannonier affirmed that Government remained “committed to the referendum process”.
