Premier to meet US Congress members in Washington trip

David Burt travelled to Washington on Monday to meet members of the US Congress and officials in the executive branch.

The Premier said the objective was “to renew contacts with US lawmakers and Biden Administration officials, reiterating Bermuda’s strong reputation for regulatory excellence”.

Mr Burt is scheduled to return to the island on Friday.

Walter Roban, the Deputy Premier, will hold the role of Acting Premier and Acting Minister of Finance until then.
