David Burt, and his wife, Kristin, hosted the traditional Easter egg hunt on the Cabinet Office lawn at the weekend.

The annual event was attended by dozens of preschoolers.

A government spokeswoman said: “During the event, the little ones from Government’s preschools were treated to a number of festive activities, including face painting, fun castles, Easter Baskets and other games and events.

“The Cabinet lawn gathering even had a special appearance by the Easter bunny, much to the delight of the young ones.

“The Premier thanked the Cabinet Office staff, public officers and vendors who helped to organise this year’s Easter egg hunt.”
