Bermuda bond insurer Assured Guaranty Ltd will host a conference call and webcast on the topic of Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services’ proposal to change its criteria for rating financial guaranty insurance companies.Yesterday the company’s shares fell 2.9 percent to $14.63, following a 6.3 percent fall on Tuesday. On Monday, S&P proposed changes to rating criteria, which would force bond insurers to hold more capital to maintain investment grade ratings.Assured is rated AA+ by S&P.
