A total of 18 new insurance-related registrations were logged by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) last month.
Special purpose insurers were the biggest single class, with seven approvals.
Class 1 insurers accounted for three new registrations, with one Class A, one Class 3A and one Class E.
Three limited companies were registered as agents and two as managers.
The BMA said one application made in December last year had been deferred.
