Two former staff of Montpelier Re have joined Novae Group, and will work for the insurer’s US direct and facultative (D&F) team at the company’s Bermuda office.

Keerome Maybury has joined Novae as a senior associate underwriter. He was formerly an associate underwriter for Montpelier Re, and has also worked for Inter-Ocean Reinsurance.

While Tammy Moniz has been appointed a risk modeller for the US D&F team. She has more than a decade of experience in the industry and was an assistant vice-president and senior risk analyst at Montpelier Re.

Ms Moniz also worked as a senior underwriting analyst at Ace Tempest Re, where she was responsible for running all cat models to produce pricing for US treaty business.

Both Ms Moniz and Mr Maybury will report to Nik Lucking, unit head of US D&F for the specialist listed Lloyd’s insurer.
